Pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and newborn is a physiological condition, but before delivery, in the third trimester pregnant women usually have the anxiety about childbirth. In 2005, WHO explained that global mental health status shows 25% of the world's population has experienced emotional and behavioral disorders, but only 40% are diagnosed. Emotional disorders that often occur are anxiety, stress, or even depression. According to DEPKES RI in 2008, In Indonesia there were 373.000 pregnant women, who experienced anxiety in the face of labor as many as 107.000 people (28.7%). Midwives in providing comprehensive midwifery care can apply a method of distraction which is murottal therapy to anticipate the anxiety before labor. In previous research it was found that listening to the holy verses of the Qur'an has a relaxing effect up to 65%. This final project conducted from March until June 2017 and used a case study method involving a pregnant woman with 36-37 weeks gestational age as a respondent, who given comprehensive midwifery care and murottal therapy ± 15 minutes for 20 days. In the process, there were some problems during the puerperium and newborn. There were anemia in the puerperium and jaundice in 6 days old newborn. Intervention that given are giving Fe, counselling about nutrition, and counselling about breastfeeding. All problems are resolved and there was a change after being given midwifery care. Provision of the effective murottal therapy illustrated that the respondent didn’t feel any anxiety in the face of labor.
